The antibody is expected to recognize phosphorylated serine 9 of all synapsin isoforms.Polyclonal antibodies are produced by immunizing animals with a synthetic phosphopeptide corresponding to residues surrounding serine 9 of human synapsin I. Antibodies are purified by protein A and peptide affinity chromatography.
